The frivolous way in which people seem to treat my deepest, heartfelt expressions of my spirit both on these pages and in Cheltenham, is precisely why I now know that life will not improve. In truth, it has happened Peter, and even so, even here in my place of private grief and suffering which I only make public to help other people to express their spiritual wounds, my blackest moments are shrugged off with the same tactless, casual cruelty I repeatedly suffer in my emotional life.
What gets me down, I find, is the fear that the world is essentially unjust. When you look at it that way, Olivia, it seems to me that the ill-treatment you get should be very reassuring.
I am glad that my pain has taken away your fear, even if it means you wish ill-treatment upon me. I can take some small comfort from the thought that my agonies can improve the life even of someone who tries to hurt me with their weak wit.

Well I am glad for you at least that you accept and own your inadequacy, even if you had to resort to schoolboy pedantry in order to make your point.
We've all resorted to schoolboys in our time, at one point or another.

Two things are particularly cathartic - poetry and humour. It doesn't hurt to blend the two. I'm sure no one means offence by it. Except maybe that Arlo, they seems a bit crabby.
Personally, I find summer much more depressing. It's still 99 degrees here in So Cal. I'll be damn happy when winter comes.
